The DAV Institutions are the gift of Arya Samaj, a progressive movement founded by “Swami Dayanand Saraswati “ in 1885 AD. Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the great path maker of modern India, laid a movement against the superstitious and pernicious practices that prevailed in ancient India.

Mahatma Hansraj, a close follower of Swami Dayand Saraswati, with a view to bring a balanced and harmonious development of the future citizens of the country and to infuse in them, ideas of vedic culture and high sense of patriotism, founded a school in Lahore in 1886 by the name of DAYANAND ANGLO VEDIC SCHOOL. This established the D.A.V. College Trust and Management Society which later setup a network of such educational institutions all over India.

A noble man, Shri Madan Lal Agrawal, chairman of Ded Raj Sewali Devi Todi Sewa Trust, Biratnagar dedicated to the upliftment of social and cultural values of Nepal decided to open a school in the cherished memory of his parents with the technical know how from the D.A.V. College Trust and Management Society, New Delhi. Our School is enlisted in the DAV Management Committee. The chairman of the trust has provided us with a piece of land for the construction of the school building. The trust had assured their full co-operation.

To be in sync with the world that has become a global village and to be in tune with the world we have integrated our teaching with the latest technology and have made the entire teaching learning experience more effective and enjoyable. However, the success of the school lies if we succeed in getting co-operation from the people of the country.

All Classes from Nursery to X are technologically equipped. All the classes are Eco friendly. White boards are hanged in every class room. Technological tools impact teaching, learning and assessment which profoundly influence the learning cycles through digital learning system. Digital portfolios of our students enable greater understanding of each student’s learning needs. It helps students to make their concept clear about the subject.
